How experienced are our QA Testers?

JUNIOR

0 - 2 Years Exp.

0-2 years of QA testing experience, often entry-level.
Basic understanding of software testing principles, including manual testing, defect tracking, and reporting.
Familiarity with different types of testing (e.g., functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing).
Knowledge of test case creation, execution, and documentation.
Basic experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and defect tracking systems.
Ability to follow test plans and scripts, and assist in identifying and documenting defects.
Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Intermediate

2 - 5 Years Exp.

2-5 years of QA testing experience.
Proficiency in creating detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and user stories.
Experience with both manual and automated testing, including the use of testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman).
Ability to perform various types of testing, such as functional, integration, performance, and security testing.
Knowledge of SQL for database testing and the ability to validate data integrity.
Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems, and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple testing tasks.
Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices, including continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Strong analytical skills to identify, document, and report defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.

SENIOR

5 + Years Exp.

5+ years of QA testing experience, including leadership roles.
Expertise in designing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies, including both manual and automated testing approaches.
Advanced knowledge of testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit) and experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
Proven ability to lead QA efforts for complex projects, including developing test plans, managing test environments, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Experience in creating and maintaining test automation frameworks, and mentoring junior and intermediate testers on best practices.
Strong background in analyzing requirements, designing test scenarios, and executing tests to ensure high-quality software releases.
Deep understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies, with experience in integrating QA processes into CI/CD pipelines.
