So why now? Companies such as Wordpress have predicted the capabilities of low-code environments as early as 2003, and fellow innovative platforms have continued to push the boundaries to date. When you consider that less than 0.5% of the global population knows how to code, it’s no surprise that NoCode platforms have remained in such high demand. 

And over the past decade, the tech industry has received constant criticism for it’s skill-shortage, leading to a lack of diversity and inclusion. Even within Australia, we’re in need of 80,000 more workers by 2022 to match industry growth. To meet this demand, expectations have shifted from the rather niche skillset of programming to the widespread and cross-skillable world of design. NoCode design is at the forefront of this cultural shift, with solutions that enable business owners to bridge this gap between design and development, achieving more-with-less as a result.

  • Bubble.io seems to have popped out of nowhere for me and taking off like a rocketship.  Were interested in seeing how scalable and powerful this becomes off an already pretty cool feature set.
  • Needless to say, Webflow makes the list, what can be done in webflow in hours used to take weeks.
